From the southern suburbs and the CBD:
There are two recommended ways.
1) Come up Madras Street, which continues into Forfar Street. Cross the mini-roundabout, and at the end of Forfar Street is a T-junction. Turn right into Westminster Street and then first left into Thames Street.
2) Come up Montreal Street. At Bealey Avenue turn right, then first left into Springfield Avenue. At the end of Springfield Avenue is a T-junction. Turn right into St Albans Street. In 50m you get to a mini-roundabout - turn left into Rutland Street, and immediately turn right into Westminster Street. Cross the Cranford Street traffic lights, and Thames Street is the third road on the left.
From the eastern suburbs:
There are two routes.
1) From New Brighton, Avondale and Shirley: go west along New Brighton Road. At the traffic lights with Marshlands Road/North Parade (the Palms Mall), go straight on into Shirley Road. At the Hills Road traffic lights go straight on into Warrington Street and continue along until a mini- roundabout where you turn right into Forfar Street. At the end of Forfar St is a T-junction. Turn right into Westminster Street and then take the first left into Thames Street.
2) From North New Brighton, Parklands and Burwood: come along Queen Elizabeth 2 Drive, filter left at the roundabout into Innes Road. Thames Street is the third road on the left after Our Lady of Fatima School and church.
From the north and northern suburbs:
Take the northern motorway (highway 1) and then the Main North Road (highway 74). Cross the traffic lights at QE2 Drive and then fork left into Cranford Street. At the Innes Road traffic lights, turn left into Innes Road. Thames Street is the third road on the right.
From the western suburbs:
From Glandovey Road, cross the traffic lights with Wairakei Road/Rowan Street into Heaton Street (if coming down Wairakei Street, turn left into Heaton Street), continue along Heaton Street and cross the traffic lights with Papanui Road into Innes Road. Continue, and Thames Street is the third road on the right after the Cranford Street traffic lights.
Busses 28 and 44 go from the Central Interchange to close to St Albans Osteopathy, with a 5 minute walk (No. 28) or 10 minute walk (No. 44) from the bus stop.
[St Albans Osteopathy] = the nearest stop to St Albans Osteopathy.
Bus number 28 runs: Papanui (Northlands Mall) - Mairehau - [St Albans Osteopathy] - St Albans - Edgeware Village - Central Interchange - Waltham - Opawa - Hillsborough - Heathcote - Lyttleton - Diamond Harbour ferry terminal. Get off on Cranford Street at the stop close to Malvern Street, which is an 5 minute walk to St Albans Osteopathy. Walk east along Malvern Street. Thames Street is the third street. Turn right, number 43 is 20 metres on the right.

Bus number 44 runs: CPIT - Central Interchange - Richmond - [St Albans Osteopathy] - Mairehau - Shirley (The Palms Mall) - Dallington. Get off at Innes Road, close to the junction with Kensington Avenue, which is a 10 minute walk away.

Bus number 100 runs : Halswell - West Lake - Wigram - Stockburn - Upper Riccarton - Riccarton - Fendalton - Merivale - St Albans - [St Albans Osteopathy] - Shirley (The Palms Mall). Get off at Barbados Street, close to the junction with Warrington Street, which is a 15 minute walk away.
The Orbiter runs in a circular route between these suburbs: Upper Riccarton - University of Canterbury - Ilam - Brydwr - Papanui - Mairehau - [St Albans Osteopathy] - Shirley - Dallington - North Linwood - Eastgate - Woolston - Waltham - St Martins - Cashmere - Hoon Hay - Barrington - Spreydon - Addington - Riccarton. Get off at Philpotts Road, close to the junction with Innes Road, which is a 10 minute walk away.
