Exercises for Before and After Childbirth

Good exercises for pregnant women are swimming and brisk walking. Yoga or Pilates is often useful. Seek advice from your osteopath if exercising without the guidance of a teacher trained in exercise when pregnant. Supportive shoes with a low heel are best. Pregnant women should sleep on their side on a medium firmness good quality mattress. Sometimes a pillow between the knees is useful.
